Vintage Silver & Enamel Canary in Cage Charm / Pendant
This vintage pendant or good size charm is made of solid silver. The charm is in the form of an openwork bird’s cage, with an enamelled yellow canary inside.
The cage measures 1.9cms height (including the bale but excluding the top suspension ring) and the charm weighs 2.3g
As is sometimes the case with jewellery of this age and type there are no hallmarks, but the charm has been professionally tested and is made of solid silver.
This vintage charm is in very good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age / general wear. The silver is in very good condition with no dents or damage. The enamelling is in good condition; there are a couple of very small chips on one side of the canary. The top suspension ring is in very good condition and has not been soldered closed.
