Vintage Silver and Enamel Gentian Flower Charm
This lovely vintage charm is made of solid, hallmarked, silver. The charm is is set with an alpine gentian flower which is enamelled in blue. Historically gentian flowers represent justice, victory and determination earning the title ‘the flower of victory’ due to their upward flowering shape. Gentian flowers also symbolise passion, charm and sweetness.
The charm measures 1.4cms height (excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 0.7g
The bale bears an unclear hallmark, which appears to read ‘900’ (a continental grade of silver). The charm also tests as solid silver.
This vintage charm is in very good condition with no damage or enamel loss and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The top suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
