Vintage Natural Amethyst Heart Pendant with 9ct Fittings
This lovely vintage heart shaped pendant is made of natural amethyst with hallmarked 9ct gold fittings. The heart has been cut and facetted to reflect the light beautifully.
The heart measures 1.8cms height (excluding the top bale and ring) and it weighs 2.4g
The bale is stamped ‘9’ and ‘.375’ for 9ct gold (the hallmarks are a little worn but can be made out under mangification)
This vintage pendant is in very good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age / general wear to the bale. There are no chips or damage to the amethyst; on close inspection it can be seen that there is minor chipping / a slightly rough finish around the drilled hole at the top of the pendant. The suspension ring is fully closed but not soldered closed. Any other variations in colour, apparent marks etc. are not damage and are naturally occurring variations within the stone.
