This pretty and sparkly vintage ring is made of fully hallmarked gold and dates from 1979. The ring front is made of 9ct white gold and is set with a central vibrant and sparkly natural blue zircon, with a total of twelve small diamonds set in the ‘petals’. The ring band is made of 9ct yellow gold.

The ring is a UK size L and a half / just under a US size 6. The ring weighs 2.8g

The inside of the ring shank is stamped with a crown and ‘375’ for 9ct gold. There are also hallmarks showing that the ring was made in London in 1979, along with a maker’s mark.

The ring front measures 1cm diameter and the blue zircon itself measures 5mm diameter.

This vintage ring is 45 years old and is in very good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age / general wear. The blue zircon itself is in lovely condition with no chips or scratches and with nice, crisp, facets. There is no wear at all visible to the naked eye and only the very lightest facet edge wear in a couple of areas visible under magnification. Under magnification it can also be seen that one of the diamonds is deeply set / recessed and not very visible, but this is not apparent to the naked eye.
