This pretty vintage picture locket pendant is made of solid, hallmarked, 9ct yellow gold and dates from 1971. The locket front has a scrolling engraved design and the reverse of the locket is plain. The locket opens to reveal a locket compartment with a perspex type protective cover and an inner securing ring.

The locket measures 2.1cms diameter and it weighs 3.7g

The reverse of the locket is stamped ‘9’ and ‘375’ for 9ct gold, along with hallmarks showing that it was made in Birmingham in 1971. The back cover of the locket is also stamped ‘375’.

This vintage locket is 53 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no dents or damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The locket opens easily and closes securely with a click.
