Vintage (1970) 9ct Gold and Rose Quartz Cocktail Ring
This beautiful vintage cocktail ring is made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and dates from 1970. The ring is set with an icy pink ‘scissor cut’ rose quartz, which has been cut and facetted to reflect the light beautifully.
The ring is a UK size L and a half / between a US size 5.5 - 6
The rose quartz itself measures 1.4cms x 1cm and the ring weighs 3.3g
The inside of the ring shank is stamped ‘9’ and ‘375’ for 9ct gold, along with hallmarks showing that the ring was made in Birmingham in 1970. There is also a maker’s mark of ‘CL&S’
This vintage ring is 55 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just very light signs of age / general wear. There are no chips to the rose quartz, which has nice, crisp, facets.
