Vintage (1967) 9ct Gold Mandolin Charm
This unusual vintage charm is made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and is in the 3d form of a mandolin.
The charm measures 2.1cms length (including the integral bale but excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 0.6g (it’s hollow).
The reverse of the charm is stamped ‘9’ and ‘375’ for 9ct gold, along with hallmarks showing that it was made in Birmingham in 1967. There is a maker’s mark of ‘WHC’.
This vintage charm is 56 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no dents or damage and showing just very light signs of age / general wear. The suspension ring has been cut (where the charm was removed from a bracelet).
