This cute little teddy bear charm is made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and dates from 1963. The bear is the same design on both sides, but one side also bears a hallmark. The gold has a lovely, rich, mellow tone and is somewhere between yellow gold and rose gold in colour.

The bear measures 1.6cms height (excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 0.5g (it’s hollow)

One side of the charm is stamped ‘9’ and ‘375’ for 9ct gold, along with hallmarks showing that it was made in Birmingham in 1963. There is also a maker’s mark of ‘WJP’

This vintage charm is 61 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no dents or damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear to the suspension ring (which has not been soldered closed).
