Vintage (1960) 9ct Gold Teapot Charm

£28.00
sold out

This sweet vintage charm is in the 3D form of a teapot and is made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold. The charm dates from 1960 and has a coveted Chester hallmark.

The teapot measures 1.7cms across (from the outer handle edge to spout tip) and it weighs 0.6g (it’s hollow).

One side of the charm is stamped ‘9’ and ‘375’ for 9ct gold, along with hallmarks showing that it was made in Chester in 1960. There is a maker’s mark of ‘WHC’

This vintage charm is 64 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no dents or damage and showing just very light signs of age / general wear. There is a pinprick sized area of irregularity in the gold just behind the spout (a black spot) but this appears to be original and is not at all obvious. The 9ct gold suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
