Vintage (1940s / 1950s) Swedish Silver and Enamel Captain's Cap Charm
This unusual vintage charm is made of hallmarked silver and is Swedish in origin. It is in the form of a captain’s cap, with black and white enamel detail. The reverse bears full Swedish hallmarks and also the words ‘LULLE SWEDEN’. I believe Lulle was the name of a Swedish pleasure boat.
The cap has a maximum width of 1.3cms and the charm weighs 0.7g
The reverse of the charm bears full Swedish hallmarks and it also tests as silver.
This vintage charm is around 80 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing light signs of age / general wear. On close inspection it can be seen that there are a couple of light, superficial, slither chips to the white enamel but these are not obvious. The suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
