£149.00
sold out

This unique and highly collectable antique stickpin dates from the Edwardian era and is the 3D form of a dog’s head. The dog is probably a variety of spaniel and has been realistically carved out of genuine lapis lazuli. The dog’s eyes are set with two genuine rubies.

The stickpin measures 6cms length and the dog’s head terminal measures 1.2cms maximum height.

As is often the case with jewellery of this age and type there are no hallmarks, but the stickpin has been professionally tested and is made of 9ct yellow gold.

This stickpin is over 100 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing light signs of age / general wear. On very close inspection it can be seen that there is a very small chip to one side of the dog’s nose but this is not very obvious to the naked eye.
