Stylish, Large, Antique Art Deco (1920) 9ct Rose Gold and Marquise Red Stone Ring
This stylish, impressive and individual antique ring is made of fully hallmarked 9ct rose gold and dates from 1920. The ring is set with a marquise shaped ‘rose cut’ paste stone in a vibrant dark red colour.
The ring is a UK size Q and a half / between a US size 8 - 8.5
The ring has a maximum height of 1.8cms and it weighs 3.0g
The inside of the ring shank is stamped ‘9’ and ‘375’ for 9ct gold, along with hallmarks showing that the ring was made in Birmingham in 1920. The side of the gemstone mount is also stamped ‘9 375’
This antique ring is 104 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age / general wear. On close inspection it can be seen that there is a very slight irregularity in the finish of the gold on one side of the gemstone mount.
