Rare Vintage (1970) 9ct Gold & Enamel London Bus Charm
This rare and collectable vintage charm is made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and dates from 1970. The charm is in the 3d form of a London ‘No 8’ bus and has red, white and black hand enamelled detail to all sides. The charm is offered for sale in lovely condition with no enamel loss or denting.
The charm measures approximately 1.3cms length and weighs 1.0g (the inside of the charm is empty)
One side of the charm is hallmarked ‘9’ and ‘375’ for 9ct gold and there are also hallmarks showing that it was made in London in 1970. There is a maker’s mark of ‘FM’.
This vintage charm is 53 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no damage, dents or enamel loss and showing just very light signs of age / general wear. The suspension ring has been cut (where the charm was removed from a bracelet).
