Pretty Vintage (1979) 9ct Gold and Sapphire Stud Earrings
These pretty and wearable vintage earrings are made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and date from 1979. Each earring is centrally set with a dark blue sapphire.
The earring fronts measure 8.5mm diameter and the sapphires themselves have a diameter of 3mm.
The earrings have a combined weight of 0.9g (they’re lightweight)
Each earring post is stamped with a crown and ‘375’ for 9ct gold. There are also hallmarks showing that the earrings were made in Birmingham in 1979. Each butterfly back is stamped ‘375’
These vintage earrings are 45 years old and are in very good condition for their age, with no damage and showing no obvious signs of age or wear. The earrings have been cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner prior to sale.
