Good Size Vintage (1989) 9ct Gold Locket Pendant
This good size vintage locket pendant is made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and dates from 1989. The locket front features engraved scrolling foliate decoration and the back is plain (apart from the hallmark). The locket opens to reveal two locket compartments: both halves have blue backing paper and one half has a protective perspex type cover. This locket is offered for sale in lovely condition.
The locket measures 3.2cms height (including the bale but excluding the top suspension ring) x 2.3cms maximum width.
The locket weighs 4.0g
The reverse of the locket is stamped with a crown and '375' for 9ct gold. There are also hallmarks showing that the locket was made in Birmingham in 1989, along with a maker's mark of 'JAM'.
This vintage locket is 35 years old and is in lovely condition for its age, with no damage or dents and showing just very light signs of age / general wear. The locket opens easily and closes securely with a click. The darker areas shown in some photos are camera reflection and not discolouration / damage.
