Exquisite Antique Edwardian (1909) Sterling Silver and Enamel Trinket Pot
This beautiful trinket pot is made of fully hallmarked sterling silver and dates from 1909. The lid has guilloche enamelling in white and turquoise, with a decorative floral basket design in the centre.
The pot lid has a diameter of 3.7cms and the pot has a height (with the lid on) of 1.8cms.
The pot weighs 18.8g
The side of the pot is stamped with a lion passant (for Sterling silver), along with hallmarks showing that the pot was made in Birmingham in 1909. There is also a maker’s mark.
This antique trinket pot is 115 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no enamel loss and showing just very light signs of age / general wear. Some of the photos have camera reflection which makes it look like the edge of the pot is dented, but this is not the case. There are a couple of very small, superficial, scratches to the base of the pot.
