This gorgeous and beautifully made antique ring dates from around 1930 and is made of hallmarked silver. The ring is set with two rows of sparkly clear paste ‘diamonds’, a row of calibre cut paste ‘rubies’ and a row of calibre cut paste ‘emeralds’. The top and bottom sides of the ring feature attractive, sinuous, engraved scrolling detail. This is a ‘night and day’ flip ring: the outer ring bands rotate via hinges so that the ring can either be worn with the paste rubies or paste emeralds as the central band. The faux emeralds / rubies can also be worn as a single band uppermost for an understated, classic, daytime look.

The ring is a UK size N / US size 6.5

The ring weighs 4.0g and the ring front has a maximum height of 9mm.

The inside of the ring band is stamped ‘800’ (a continental grade of silver), along with a maker’s mark of ‘HF’

This antique ring is around 90 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The paste stones are in very good condition and the flip mechanism works as it should with the right tension.
