This decorative hinged antique bangle dates from the Edwardian era and is made of hallmarked gilded silver. The bangle is set with a vibrant red cabochon gem, surrounded by sixteen seed pearls. There is decorative ball and scroll decoration to the front half of the bangle, which has a secure catch and the benefit of a safety chain for added safekeeping.

The bangle has an internal circumference of 18cms (7”). Please note this is a little smaller than the standard modern bangle / bracelet size, so please check that it it suitable or your wrist size.

The bangle has a maximum height of 1.5cms at the centre front and it weighs 11.3g

The catch is stamped ‘900’ which is a continental grade of silver.

This antique bangle is over 100 years old and is in very good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age / general wear. The catch is in secure working order. The black presentation bangle case is in very good condition and is included in the purchase price.
