This antique pendant / fob dates from around 1890 - 1910 and is made of 9ct yellow gold. The compass is in good working order and the hand painted detail on the dial is lovely and clear.

The pendant / fob measures 2.5cms height (including the top suspension ring) and the circular compass measures 1.4cms diameter. It weighs 2.8g.

The base of the pendant / fob is stamped ‘9C’ for 9ct gold and also bears a maker’s mark of ‘PT’. The hallmarks are a little worn but can be made out.

This compass pendant / fob is over 100 years old. The compass is in fully working order and the dial, hands, lettering and glass are all in very good condition showing just light signs of age / general wear. There are a few light spot marks on the gold on the lower half of the compass. The gold generally shows light signs of age and wear.
