Antique Edwardian / Art Deco Era Nephrite Jade Pendant With 9ct Gold Fittings
This stylish antique pendant dates from around 1910 / 1920 and is made of natural nephrite jade, with 9ct yellow gold mounts.
The pendant measures approximately 5.3cms height (including the integral bale but excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs approximately 7.2g.
As is often the case with jewellery of this type there are no hallmarks, but the pendant’s mount and suspension ring have been professionally tested and have been found to be composed of 9ct yellow gold. The jade is dark green in colour with a little variation shown when the pendant is held up to the light (see last photo).
This pendant is around 100 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no chips or damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear.
