sold out

This lovely, unusual and collectable antique lucky kidney bean charm dates from the Edwardian era and is made of 9ct rose gold. The charm has an attractive design on each side and is offered for sale in lovely condition with no dents or damage.

The bean measures 1.8cms length (including the integral bale but excluding the end suspension ring)

The charm weighs 0.8g (it’s hollow)

As is sometimes the case with jewellery of this age and type there are no hallmarks, but the charm has been professionally tested and is made of 9ct rose gold.

This antique charm is over 100 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no dents or damage and showing just very light signs of age / general wear. By design there is a pinprick hole in the central area of the bean (hollow gold charms were made this way in order to allow air to escape during the making process). The suspension ring shows light signs of age / general wear and has been cut (where the charm was removed from a bracelet).
