This sweet and functional antique heart padlock clasp dates from the Edwardian era and is made of hallmarked 9ct rose gold. By design the clasp opens by squeezing the arm to open the clasp and it then pushes back securely into place with a click. A loop is fitted to the side of the padlock so that it can be attached to a bracelet via a safety chain.

The clasp measures 1.6cms height (when the clasp / arm are in the closed position)

The clasp weighs 1.0g

The reverse of the clasp is stamped ‘9C’ for 9ct gold, along with a maker’s mark.

This antique clasp is over 100 years old and is in good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The clasp opens easily and closes securely with a click.
