Antique Edwardian 9ct Rose Gold Double Dog Clip
This versatile antique double dog clip is made of hallmarked 9ct rose gold and dates from the Edwardian era. The clip is not of the swivel variety.
The double dog clip measures 2.2cms in length and weighs 1.4g.
One end of the clip is stamped ‘9C’ for 9ct gold
This double dog clip is over 100 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing light signs of age / general wear. By design one half of the clip is a little more substantial than the other. Each end of the clasp opens easily and closes as it should: the spring back mechanism is not particularly strong meaning that the opening of each clip can open a little even when closed; this clip is therefore more suitable for a more substantial / thicker chain.
