Antique Edwardian 9ct Rose Gold Bracelet With Engraved Heart Padlock Clasp
PLEASE NOTE: This bracelet is only available to buyers from the UK due to overseas shipping insurance limits
This beautiful, good size, antique bracelet is made of hallmarked 9ct rose gold and dates from the Edwardian era. The bracelet makes a statement worn as it is but could also have charms added. The bracelet is set with a heart padlock clasp which has beautiful floral engraving to the front. Please note that this bracelet has been worn and loves and shows some signs of age / wear (details below) and this is reflected in the price.
The bracelet weighs 11.6g (the links are hollow)
The bracelet measures 8” in length (20.3cms) and the links have a height of 8mm.
The reverse of the clasp is stamped ‘9C’ for 9ct gold and also bears a maker’s mark of ‘WHWLD’. Each of the curb links is stamped ‘9C’ for 9ct gold
This bracelet is over 100 years old and shows some signs of age / wear. A couple of the links have small pin prick type dents and one of the end links is a little bruised. One link has a small hole to one side (this can be seen in the photo of the bracelet on a ruler). The clasp is in secure working order; it opens easily and closes securely with a click. The front of the clasp is in lovely condition, on the reverse there is a small area of irregular finish to the gold near the hinge area (not significant). Although this bracelet is not in perfect condition, it is still completely wearable as it is and the signs of wear do not stand out when it’s on the wrist.
