This beautiful, elegant, antique ring dates from around 1910 and is made of hallmarked 18ct yellow gold, with a platinum sapphire and diamond setting. The ring is offered for sale in very good condition and is set with a central square cut sapphire in a pretty royal / navy blue shade, with a sparkly genuine diamond either side. This ring looks very elegant worn on its own, but would also sit nicely next to a wedding ring or band style ring. The ring is a UK size O and a half / between a US size 7 - 7.5

The inside of the ring shank is stamped ‘18CT’ for 18ct gold. The diamond and sapphire setting tests as platinum.

The ring has a maximum height of approximately 3.7mm. The diamonds measure approximately 2.3mm diameter (excluding the platinum mounts).The ring weighs 2.0g

This antique ring is over 100 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The sapphire and diamonds are all in lovely condition with no chips or scratches and with nice, crisp, facets.
