This antique silver fob / pendant dates from the early Victorian era and is made of hallmarked silver. The spinner is set with a bloodstone and carnelian disc which spin freely within the mount.

The circular spinner part measures 1.3cms diameter and the fob / pendant weighs 2.8g

The side of the stone mount is stamped with a lion passant (for Sterling silver) along with hallmarks showing that it was made in Birmingham. The date letter is difficult to make out, but the style of the letter dates it to the 1830s / 1840s. The silver frame is also stamped with a lion passant.

This antique spinner is around 170 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing some signs of age and general wear / use in the form of light pitting to the silver. The carnelian and bloodstone plaques are both in very good condition with no chips or damage. The top silver suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
