This unusual antique solitaire ring dates from around 1920 - 1930 and is made of hallmarked 9ct rose gold. The ring is set with a circular natural green zircon in a pretty olive green shade.

The ring is a UK size O and a half / between a US size 7 - 7.5

The green zircon itself measures approximately 5mm diameter (excluding the gold mount). The ring weighs 1.9g

The inside of the ring shank is stamped ‘9CT’ for 9ct gold.

This ring is around 90 - 100 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing light signs of age / general wear. Under magnification the green zircon shows very light facet edge abrasion, but this is not visible to the naked eye.
