Antique (1950) Sterling Silver Retractable Cocktail Stirrer / Swizzle Stick
This antique cocktail stirrer / swizzle stick is made of fully hallmarked sterling silver. The stirrer pushes open to reveal seven ‘prongs’ for mixing a cocktail. This appealing swizzle stick is made by the prestigious jewellers Deakin & Francis.

The end of the swizzle stick is stamped with a lion passant (for sterling silver) along with hallmarks showing that it was made in Birmingham in 1950. There is a maker’s mark of ‘D&F’ (for Deakin & Francis).
