This antique medallion / pendant is made of fully hallmarked 9ct rose gold and dates from 1921. The front of the medallion / pendant has decorating engraving detail with some raised gold edging and a central raised cartouche, which could be engraved with initials. The reverse of the pendant is plain (apart from the hallmark).
The medallion pendant measures 3.3cms height (including the integral bale but excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 4.6g
The reverse is stamped ‘375’ for 9ct gold, along with hallmarks showing that it was made in Birmingham in 1921. The suspension ring is also stamped ‘9’ and ‘375’
This medallion pendant is 103 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
